I've Had It With These Men

I write my blogs the day before I publish them. This gives me time to edit them carefully. I typically edit anything I write at least three times.

So as I write this it is Tuesday. I looked at all the news sources for anything interesting to write about.

The shooting at the correspondence dinner, the ongoing war and the peace talks….. Oh look, King Charles is visiting. And he will not be meeting with Epstein survivors. I should not be surprised.

He treated Princess Diana horribly. He has no respect for women, and was raised to believe he was above the law and the world bowed at his feet. I lived over seas for a time, surrounded by British patriots and their superior attitudes. My Dad was constantly trying to get the church leaders to commit to reaching out to the people who lived around the church and invite them in. To provide food and clothing for them. They would not.

King Charles would like us to believe he is above the Epstein scandal and won’t allow it to touch him in any way. But here’s the thing, your highness, you are choosing to honor a rapist, child molester, multiple felon, and liar, instead a group of the strongest, most honest and supportive women in our country. This choice says so much about who you are.

Any one else sick of all these men refusing to find justice for the survivors? Angry that over and over again rape, incest, and brutality against women is ignored?Well, I am.

Every time another rapist goes free, another story about a child’s innocence is taken away, another scandal in a church or cult is revealed, my PTSD is triggered and I feel discounted and dirty all over again.

Damn you, pompous, self righteous men who put your selves above the law. Screw you, men who smirk and plot how you can take advantage of your next victim. Your eyes traveling over a woman’s body when you meet them rather than looking into her eyes.

Our president would like to initiate the return of firing squads as punishment. Let’s do it. Let’s give the survivors guns, bring out the men who appear in the files and allow them to send those men to Hell.

Let’s pass legislation that those men who treat women and girls with anything other than love and respect will be taken out of this life. They are a blight against humanity. When any of them gets away with violence, and indecency against women it encourages others to do the same. It must stop now.

Too bad the shooting was staged. The entire cabinet needs to be removed. They make me sick.

And my PTSD is rotting my brain. I need hope. Anyone else?
